National Self-Care Week is a great opportunity for employers to think about the workplace wellbeing of their staff.
It’s not always easy to take time out from our busy work and home lives to focus on our mental and physical health.
If you’ve only got five minutes, then find something that works for you in the moment. This could be a simple mindfulness practice such as focusing on your breathing or listening to music. Create your own self care plan with the pdf attached.
Employers can also help to promote self-care among their employees by encouraging staff to take a lunch break, for example, or make the most of flexible working.
