28 May Can boys scream too?

As we come to the end of Mental Health Awareness Week… I was watching my daughter and her friends celebrate a birthday by screaming across a lake from the excitement of fast inflatables… a socially acceptable thing… and/or a great release of any fear or tension… I know I love Alton Towers for the exact same reason… a chance to release in a safe space… interesting… the boat driver talks about girls screaming whereas boys tend to go rigid and want to go faster and be seen to show no fear… …expected, innate or or what’s considered socially acceptable? … it would be great to see boys do the same… would it make a difference in long run to their wellbeing?… worth a thought… brave release
